In reply to your letter 42643/1904 of the 28th instant on the subject of the murder of the Chinese reformer Yeung Kui Wan I am directed by the Marquess of Lansdowne to request that you will inform the Secretary of State for the Colonies that His Lordship concurs in the proposal to approve the terms of the Governor of Hongkong's despatch of the 17th of November last to His Majesty's Minister at Peking.
